Reservation Policy

The Group X “Reservation Option Policy” has been developed for all clubs to offer continuity and simplicity.

WHY? The Reservation Option has been developed as a courtesy to our members. It is ideal for any class that has a greater demand than supply. Current classes that would utilize the optional reservation system are Indoor Cycling, Step, Yoga, and TKB.

HOW MANY SPACES MAY BE SET ASIDE FOR RESERVATION? 50 % of the total class capacity may be set aside for reservations. For example, if a club has 20 indoor cycling bikes, then 10 of them are available for reservation. If a GX room capacity is 50, then 25 spaces are set aside for reservation.

WHAT IS THE OPTIONAL RESERVATION POLICY? Members are able to guarantee their space in class by using the $1 Reservation System. Members can reserve an available space in any class, anytime, up to 1 hour prior to class start time and pay $1 for their reservation. Additional spaces in a class are available (1) hour before the scheduled class. These additional spaces cannot be reserved and are filled on a first come basis.

  • Reservations must be made in person, not over the phone
  • Payment must be made at the time of the reservation
  • Payment is non-refundable or transferable
  • Receipts must be given to the members at the time of reservation
  • Names must be logged into the correct class, time, and date in the reservation book
  • One-hour prior to class, members may have their name entered on the reservation list without the reservation fee on a first come first serve basis.
  • Reserved spaces will be held until class has started, at which time the space will be forfeited, to the first member on the waiting list.
